A few things you’ll discover by tuning into Dr. Helen's session:
*Is oral health important during infancy since my baby's teeth will just fall out anyway?
*How can I tell if my baby is teething and what can I do to help with teething pain?
*What should I know about tooth brushing and flossing for my baby?
*What bad habits should we try to avoid to help my baby's oral hygiene?
And so much more!
Dr. Helen is a pediatric dentist and mom to a 1 year old girl, Olivia. She works part-time in the Bay Area and volunteers as faculty at UCSF, where she created a dental desensitization clinic for kids with neurodevelopmental disorders (including autism spectrum disorder).
Navigating motherhood was not easy for Dr. Helen. But, those struggles are what gifted her with the inspiration to start @the.dentistmom. She is passionate about guiding parents through the challenges of baby teeth with her added perspective as a first time mom.
She works to empower parents with the knowledge to take care of their child’s oral health, and provide parents with the resources to make their lives just a little easier.
